THE GIRLS

Eowyn is a lovely ruddy female who has produced some very pretty kittens for us. 
Eowyn is out of GC Mittsnpaws Rockofages of Strazkatz and GC Zodiacal Pizzaz.

Mel, as she is fondly known, is a super affectionate cat, even by Somali standards. 
God help any mouse who happens to accidentally invade our house, 
for Mel is a mouser par excellence like her sire GC Kalyna’s Flashpoint (aka Mousebreath). 
Mel’s dam was Ch Dunedin’s Elanor.

Whisper is out of GC Jagmac Merlinsmagic of Thecatgarden and Kalyna’s Red Hot Pepper. 
We did not show Whisper largely due to the fact that she seemed the type of cat that 
would not enjoy shows. She is a very strong willed girl so we didn’t subject her to 
something we knew she would find objectionable.

Arwen was from our first litter of shorthair to Somali breedings. 
She is lovely girl with no faults, but by the same token she is not a show stopper. 
We expect she will produce some lovely babies in the future.
Her sire is Ch Kalyna’s Jack of Diamondz and her dam is Kalyna’s Violet (a pretty red shorthair Somali).

Maggie arrived Oct. 22, 2007 from Denmark accompanied by her breeder 
Teresa Guldager. Maggie has wonderful colour and ticking as well as being 
completely clear and in addition she has a wonderful purrsonality. She is one 
very self-assured little girl. We are thrilled with her and look forward to showing her, 
but more importantly we are anticipating that she will make a very positive contribution
 to our breeding program. Thank you Teresa! Maggie is out of Dushara Jemadar Futuro
 and Dushara Mishani Kia (who is now living in Halifax, N.S.)
