Our
kittens are raised uncaged in bedrooms. Each bedroom door has a screen
door allowing the kittens to become accustomed to household activities and
become acquainted with the other cats in the household.
The kittens are not allowed run of the house until they have
received their vaccinations at 12 to 13 weeks of age.
The
kittens that have been deemed to be pets are neutered/spayed at 15 to 16
weeks of age. We do not let our kittens go to pet homes before 16 weeks of
age as we feel it is important for the kittens to develop social skills by
interacting with us, their siblings and the other cats.
When
our kittens leave home, the new owner signs a contract agreeing to the
terms of the contract and in turn receives the vaccination/health record,
pedigree, general information sheet, pre-registration certificate, food
and toys.
